What Would You Do?

đź’° Imagine This: No More Limits

Let’s say you woke up tomorrow to news that you’d won a mega lottery.

(You may, like us, not play—but just go with it.)

At first, it’s easy to imagine what you’d do:

  • Pay off debt
  • Upgrade your home
  • Help your loved ones
  • Support meaningful causes

But then what?

Seriously—once the dust settles, and your lifestyle is as good as you could hope for…

What would you do with your time if money were no object?

🎯 The Purpose Behind the Question

That question, I believe, points straight to your purpose.

Because once survival and stability are no longer the focus—what’s left?
Who do you serve?
What do you build?
What legacy would you chase?

Most of us never seriously entertain that question because life’s daily pressures demand our energy.

But the way we answer it—even just in theory—can reveal what we were made to do.

🏖️ Sit on the Beach… Forever?

Sure, a little escape sounds great.

If I’m honest, my initial response leans toward,

“Sit on the beach somewhere sipping iced tea…”

And that would be great—for a week. Maybe two. Ok, maybe six…

But eventually, that kind of comfort without meaning would grow stale.
Because deep down, we all crave purpose, not just peace.

đź“– Scripture Reminds Us

“We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works…”
—Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

You weren’t just made to relax—you were created to reflect God’s heart and live on mission.

Which means:
Even if your circumstances changed, your calling wouldn’t.

✨ Reflection Questions

  1. What would you spend your days doing if money and time were no object?
  2. What does that say about what matters most to you?
  3. How can you bring a small piece of that vision into your current reality?

🙏 Final Thought

You may not be holding a winning lottery ticket.
But you’re holding something more valuable: today. And the opportunity to live with intention.

So ask yourself—

What would you do—if nothing held you back?
Then take one step in that direction—on purpose.
