Trusting What You Can’t See
A few years back, I was neck-deep in uncertainty—career decisions that didn’t make sense, prayers that felt like echoes, and doors that kept slamming shut. I couldn’t make sense of what God was doing, and honestly, I wondered if He was doing anything at all. But I kept showing up, because somehow I believed—deep down—that even if I couldn’t trace His hand, I could still trust His heart.
The Bible consistently reminds us of God’s character, especially when our circumstances don’t. Proverbs 3:5 tells us to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” That sometimes is hardest when life is the darkest—but that’s also where trust grows its deepest roots.
If you’re in a foggy season, don’t wait for full clarity before trusting Him. Stay in the Word, stay in community, and keep your heart open to how God might be shaping you behind the scenes. He sees what we can’t, and He’s working even in the silence.
When we can’t trace the path, we can still trust the Person guiding us. He hasn’t forgotten you—He’s forming something beautiful.
